PGM Sport Marine Ltd trading as Sport Marine with headquarters in Lemesos, Cyprus was founded by today's President, George Michaelides who has been in the marine business since 1967.

In 1989 a new era began for the company with the Distribution Agreement between Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd and Sport Marine for the Distribution in Cyprus of Yamaha Marine Products. It was not long after that the company was first in sales in Outboards and Watercrafts on the island. The proof was the "Distributors Award" that Sport Marine was awarded in 1993 from Yamaha Motors Co. Ltd for excellent achievement in the marketing and sales of Yamaha Outboards and Waverunners. From that point and up to date the company received many awards and recognitions in all product categories.

In 2001 Sport Marine became the distributor of Riviera Group, manufacturer of the Riviera Sport Cruisers and Sport Fishing Yachts.

In 2002 Four Winns and Wellcraft trusted its distribution for Cyprus to Sport Marine for their Sport and Cabin Cruiser line up. The company also teamed up in 2002 with Jobe Sports offering a full line up of wakeboards, skis, towables and other watersport equipment.

The year 2005 was the one that the company was involved in Land Products. Successfully introducing in the market for the first time Yamaha Golf Cars, ATVs, Generators, Water Pumps and an excellent service and spare parts supply.

In July 2011, Hyundai SeasAll and Sport Marine signed an agreement for the distribution of Hyundai Marine Diesel engines in Cyprus. This gave new potentials to the company to enter the re-powering marine diesel engine market with the new high speed common rail design engines of Hyundai SeasAll.

One of the biggest names in the boating industry Sessa Marine, joined forces with Sport Marine in September 2011 for the Distribution of Sessa Motor Yachts and Powerboats in Cyprus. With Sessa line up, the company offers its customers a huge selection of high quality and modern design motor boats and Yachts.

Sport Marine once more upgraded the service standards of the company and from 2011 is offering full range of Services, Yacht Management as well as Insurance and Financing possibilities.
