After manufacturing its first P7 (7hp) outboard motor in July 1960, Yamaha this week is celebrating the production of its 10 millionth outboard motor.

Since those early days, production reached five million units in March 1996, and eight million in October 2006. In the six years since then, another two million outboards have been produced, bringing the cumulative total to 10 million units today.
